Inspired from the earthquakes of California and pulled from the earliest traces of what punk was to become, The Dils < stars of Cheech & Chong's "Up In Smoke" battle of the bands>. Released 3 crushing singles and a number of posthumous records since. The first single "I HATE THE RICH" / "YOU'RE NOT BLANK" was originally released on Iloki Records. The second being "198 SECONDS OF THE DILS" released in '77 on Dangerhouse. Final single "MADE IN CANADA" released in 1980 on Rogelletti.
Here's a culmination of their work; rarities, live tracks, singles, etc... It's all good shit and a true pillar of punk society. From San Francisco to L.A. for 3 years they contaminated the underground with their primordial ooze.
Formed in '77, the band unfortunately dissolved in 1980.
Members would continue on to Rank and File, a punkish/country bumpkin band.
