Info Post

First appearing as The Substitutes in 1980, John Stabb became one of D.C.'s earliest and most charismatic vocalists. Releasing a slew of influential records and having damn near everybody come through the ranks of Government Issue, they were around from 1980-1989.

This compiles outtakes, demos, alternate versions and other rare tracks. Check out Ian MacKaye on vocals on track 5.

Be sure to pick up all their early works as it is essential for any fan who supports the scene.
