I took up a big chunk of my evening trying to salvage the second track from this demo, "Resist To Exist," but I failed. A descent into warbling quicksand is all I could manage...ahhh, cassettes. So here are three of the four songs on SYSTEMATIC ANNEX's 1985 demo. The driving animal rights song "Death Trades" is really the focus of this tape, the killer fucking track that also appeared on Mortarhate's
We Won't Be Your Fucking Poor comp. The two other songs are mellower (especially the drumless "It's The Production Of War") but still solid UK political punk. SYSTEMATIC ANNEX also cranked out a split tape with ANATHEMA in 1985 and then seemed to have called it a day.
