Impact hailed from in and around Cwmbran area in South Wales, punk had seemingly died off with THE PISTOLS, and many a band becoming main stream, like many bands of the 1980's punk was evolving, becoming more angry, more switched on, and more in touch with the streets, none more so than IMPACT, who were walking and flourishing in the punk, skin, crossover of working class oi music,,,,,, music of streets....
