Punk rock superheroes The Stooges played a total of 10 shows as a 5 piece on this 1971 tour.
The Period between 1970's "Fun House" and '73's "Raw Power" was an intoxicatingly damaging and destructively beautiful period in the timeline of The Stooges legend. During these recordings, the lineup was:

Iggy Pop - Vocals
Ron Asheton - Guitar
James Williamson -Guitar
Jimmy Recca - Bass
Scott Asheton - Drums

With both Ron and James playing dueling banjos creating any girls wet dream. This was the true hammer of the Gods. It's hard to believe it's nearly 40 years later since the anniversary of these recordings, and despite the sound quality the piss, the power and the glory of all things rock still remains sonically blaring through.

There are only 1000 copies made of this 4 disc set. Released last year, the label did an incredible job with the packaging, so go out and buy this if you can track it down. It's well worth it for my Stooges "cock in my pocket". We will only leave this up for 24 hours.
